Which kind of login do you use?

The same subscription can be used in different ways depending on the app and the device.

    • DNS 1: 8.8.8.8 (Google DNS)
    • DNS 2: 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare DNS)
  5. Press OK / Save, then restart your TVIP box.

If some channels buffer or fail to load, try other DNS servers, for example:

  • 9.9.9.9 (Quad9, privacy focused)

These often make IPTV more stable, depending on your internet provider and location.

Guides for more devices are on the Changing DNS page.

Get started with TiviMate

1. Download and install

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android device or Android TV.

  1. Download VLC from the Play Store.
  2. Open TiviMate > Settings > Playback.
  3. Turn on Use external player and select VLC.

5. Channel lag or buffering

If you notice slight lag or stuttering:

  3. Try different values for Buffer size (try Medium or Large) and Video decoder (Hardware or Software). Choose what works best on your device.

  1. On your phone or computer, go to the app's activation page (for example hotiptv.app/activate, or the address shown on your TV).
  2. Enter the MAC address shown on your TV.
  3. Add your IPTV details: M3U URL, or Xtream Connection (portal URL, username and password).
  4. Choose Activate or Upload.
  5. Restart the HOT IPTV app on your TV.
Smart STB

An emulator modelled on the MAG box, which gives the feel of a real set-top box. With Smart STB you get a stable view of all channels, and everything is sorted in order.

The app has a 7-day trial period. After that we recommend buying the app for 270 SEK.

Start by connecting the network (Ethernet) cable, so that you get the correct MAC address and avoid lag. IPTV should always run on a cable.

  1. Download Smart STB.
  2. Start the app. When you see "Loading portal" on the TV, press OK (the button in the middle).
  3. Go down to System settings.
  4. Write down the virtual MAC address and give it when you apply for a trial or buy a subscription.
  5. Go to smart-stb.net and create an account.
  6. Enter the software ID on the Smart STB website.
  7. Under Portals, enter the portal URL. Contact support and you will get it.
  8. Select Save.

If you need more help, contact our support.

GSE
  1. Press the menu button to open Xtream Codes.
  2. Press +.
  3. Name: IPTV Next
  4. Server name: the address from http:// up to and including 8080
  5. Username: found in your order
  6. Password: found in your order
  7. Press Log in.
  8. Find the one called IPTV Next and press it.
  9. Then press LIVE.
  10. Then select country and channel.
External player for Formuler and VOD

Do not forget Audio Optimizer from Formuler Market if you have not installed it yet.

  1. Go to Home and download the VLC app from the Google Play Store or Formuler Market.
  2. Install VLC and, when it is done, go back to MYTVOnline 2/3.
  3. Then go to (MOL2) Menu > Settings > Player Options > External VOD player and select VLC.
  4. Play the film or series you had playback problems with.

VLC is a background app that helps play formats for audio, video and subtitles that may not work in the built-in player in MYTVOnline. This is not unusual, since there are thousands of formats. This is one way to make playback work.

Formuler's guides

M3U to XC Conversion Guide 4 parts

Use this guide to convert your M3U link into XC (Xtream Codes) format. This format is required in apps such as TiviMate, MYTVOnline+, IPTV Smarters and Smart STB.

http://example.com:8080/get.php?username=test123&password=pass123&type=m3u_plus&output=ts

Replace:

  • http://example.com:8080 with your server domain.
  • test123 is your USERNAME and pass123 your PASSWORD. Replace them with the login details from your order email.

Take the same details from your M3U link and write them like this:

  • URL: http://example.com:8080
  • Username: test123
  • Password: pass123

This is the format most IPTV apps ask for when you log in.

Example

If your M3U link looks like this:

http://example.com:8080/get.php?username=test123&password=pass123&type=m3u_plus&output=ts

then your XC login details are:

  • URL: http://example.com:8080
  • Username: test123
  • Password: pass123

M3U link:

http://example.com:8080/get.php?username=test123&password=pass123&type=m3u_plus&output=ts

EPG link:

http://example.com:8080/xmltv.php?username=test123&password=pass123

Magbox

We do not provide support for these boxes, as they are outdated and Infomir blocks IPTV.

Note: On the MAG256, skip step 2, as the box detects this automatically at startup, and skip step 4, as it detects which cable is connected by itself.

  1. Go to Settings and then System Settings.
  2. Go down to Software Update, press OK and then the red button to update the software. Wait a few minutes and the box restarts.
  3. Go to Settings and then System Settings.
  4. Go to Video, change to 1080p and 1920×1080, press OK and go back. Skip this step on the MAG256, which detects this by itself.
  5. Go to Servers.
  6. Go to General, enter pool.ntp.org, press OK and go back.
  7. Press Portals.
  8. On the first portal, enter: Portal Name: IPTV Next. Portal URL: given when you ask by email. You do not need to fill in the other portals. Press OK to save and go back.
  9. Go to Advanced Settings and change the time zone to Europe/Stockholm, so that the EPG works. Press OK to save.

Then go back until you are out. The box says it needs to restart to use the new settings. Let it restart. You now enter the IPTV Next portal. Before you start watching TV, do one last thing: go right until you reach Settings, then Advanced Settings, and change Buffer Size from 0 to 15. Go down the list and press OK.

The MAC address of the box must be activated with us before you can access the portal. Write to us if your MAC address is not activated.

Now you can start watching TV.
